B2B lead generation · Australia
You know the businesses you'd love to work with. We help you get a conversation started.
We build and run targeted outreach for Australian B2B companies, from choosing the right prospects and writing the messages to managing replies and handing interested buyers over to your team.
So bringing in new business doesn't depend entirely on the next referral, the next ad click or finding time to do it all yourself.

“We regularly achieved more solid leads in a week using the CLCK approach than we had been receiving on an annual basis.”
A closer look at one campaign
A lead-management software business needed more sales conversations. We helped it reach a targeted group of prospects, then turn the replies into meetings.
We researched the target customer, built the prospect list, wrote the offer and outreach messages, and managed the campaign and replies. The list was 338 contacts, rather than thousands of loosely matched names.
The campaign received 98 replies in total. Of those, 37 expressed interest. That distinction matters: an out-of-office or a polite “no thanks” isn't a sales opportunity.
The resulting conversations produced 15 booked meetings and four new clients within the first 40 days. The wider campaign recorded $185,000 in pipeline in under 60 days.

The result came from connecting the work: who to contact, why they'd care, how to follow up and what to do when they replied. Sending more emails was never the whole job.
This is one historical campaign, not a forecast. Pipeline is potential business, not revenue received. Your offer, market and sales process will affect your results.
What it meant to the business owner
Mary came to CLCK feeling sceptical after a disappointing experience with another lead-generation company.
That's a different starting point from someone trying outreach for the first time. You don't need another confident sales pitch. You need someone to listen, understand the business and show you what they're doing.
Her feedback describes both sides of the work: CLCK creating the initial connection, and her business showing prospective clients what it could offer.

Mary B
Managing Director, Calculated Solutions
“After a disappointing experience with another company, I was feeling pretty sceptical about lead generation. But when I spoke with Damien, his sincerity and the CLCK model really resonated with me. I felt like they understood my challenges and were committed to helping me find and engage with the right leads for my business.
The targeted campaigns CLCK created for me were a game-changer. They took the time to listen to my concerns and suggestions, and it showed in the results. Within the first month of our first campaign, I started securing clients, which was a huge relief after feeling lost for so long.
I tell other businesses that CLCK will not only identify potential clients but also help set up that initial connection. After that, it's up to you to showcase what you have to offer.”
Our point of view
When a campaign struggles, the tempting answer is more. More contacts, more emails, more automation. But reaching more of the wrong businesses just creates more work for everyone.
We start earlier. Which companies would you actually want as clients? What would make one worth pursuing? Who feels the problem you solve, and why might they consider doing something about it?
That gives outbound its advantage: you choose who to approach before you send anything. Referrals, content and advertising still have a place. Outreach gives you a way to start conversations rather than waiting for every buyer to find you.
A company matching your target market doesn't automatically mean it's ready to buy. But it gives the conversation a better starting point.
That's why we separate a contact, an interested reply, a booked meeting and a sales opportunity. Those aren't interchangeable numbers, and they shouldn't appear as one impressive-looking total in your report.
Your sales feedback tells us whether we're reaching people worth talking to. Without it, a campaign can look busy while doing very little for the business.
More outcomes, across different markets
Different businesses sell different things. A software demo, a recruitment client and a commercial cleaning contract aren't the same outcome. Here's what other campaigns produced.

Business directory
Closed over three months of outreach.
A different offer and buying decision from recruitment, with results built over a longer period.
Digital agency
Closed within the first two months.
An example of outreach creating new business for a company that already understood marketing.
B2B software
B2B decision-makers who wanted demos, with multiple new paying customers reported.
Demo interest and paying customers are different measures. Both matter, and we keep that distinction visible.
Commercial solar

For this business, a quote was the next commercial step. A generic meeting count would have missed that context.
Commercial cleaning
The annual value of a contract landed through outreach.
The value of the customer matters as much as the number of leads it takes to win them.
Selected historical outcomes from separate campaigns. These aren't averages or guaranteed results, and they shouldn't be added together as a single campaign total.
Talk through your marketMaking room for sales again
Drew's digital-marketing business closed five new clients. His messages capture something a results table can't: the shift from looking for conversations to making time for them.
He reported his first sale from email outreach, then started setting aside more time to handle the leads and replies coming in.
That's the part your team needs to be ready for. We'll help create the introduction and manage the outreach. Someone at your end still needs to listen, answer questions and move the opportunity forward.

How we approach outbound
We call this AIM. It's a straightforward way to check the parts that decide whether your outreach gets a fair hearing.
Choose companies with a reason to need what you sell. Identify the right people, prioritise the best fits and remove current customers, existing opportunities and do-not-contact records before launch.
Personalisation starts here. A beautifully written message to the wrong person is still the wrong message.
Give the message a chance to be seen. For cold email, we set up separate sending infrastructure, warm the inboxes gradually and monitor delivery.
Your main domain doesn't send the campaign. That reduces its exposure, but no honest provider can promise perfect inbox placement.
Give the reader a reason to care and an easy way to respond. We work through the offer, angle, evidence and ask with you, then build follow-up that continues the conversation.
You approve the messaging and representative samples before launch. Your name is on it, so it needs to sound like something you'd stand behind.
AI, with someone responsible for the work
AI can research and sort companies, help identify where an offer fits, and adapt an approved message to different buyers. That means more of the work can reflect the prospect's business rather than just dropping their first name into a template.
But speed doesn't make a weak offer persuasive. And a confident-sounding AI sentence can still be wrong.
We decide the audience, positioning, proof and ask with you. AI helps apply that thinking across the market. The best-fit accounts can receive deeper research, while businesses that don't belong come out of the list.
We review representative samples before a list goes live and test in stages. We won't pretend a person reads every variation at scale.
The aim is relevance you can stand behind. An observation about what the company does beats an invented compliment or a pretend personal connection.
When replies arrive, people handle the conversation and feed what we're learning back into the campaign.
What working together looks like
You shouldn't need to become an outbound specialist to make this work. You do need a say in who we approach, how we represent you and what happens when someone wants to talk.
We talk through your offer, deal value, sales cycle and the customers you want more of. We also look at what you've tried and where it stalled. That helps us judge whether the market and economics justify a campaign.
We research prospects, agree exclusions and write the messaging. Email, LinkedIn and other channels do different jobs; the choices should follow your buyers and offer, rather than whichever tool happens to be fashionable.
You review the targeting, messages and representative samples. We prepare and test the sending setup. If something doesn't sound like you, this is where we fix it, before your market sees it.
We run the campaign and handle routine responses, removal requests and interested replies. We agree the next step for interested buyers, including appointment-setting where it's part of your campaign.
We review which replies become meetings, opportunities and customers. Your team's feedback helps refine targeting and messaging. A prospect who needs more time gets a considered next step instead of disappearing into an inbox.
A team you can work with
“Care for Kids partnered with CLCK to build a brand new database and lead generation strategy. Damien and his team were brilliant to work with, incredibly thorough, responsive, and adaptable. I would absolutely recommend CLCK for their ability to move fast, build bespoke lead generation strategies, and above all else be a great extension of your team.”
Emily WoodsWhy CLCK
We've spent more than a decade working across lead generation, digital marketing and HubSpot. We're a HubSpot Platinum Solutions Partner, with experience that goes beyond launching a campaign and handing over a spreadsheet.
Damien's background is in copywriting, including work with Scott Pape and Tim Reid. That matters when your offer needs an explanation a busy person will actually read.
Our team also understands the less visible work: managing replies, recording what happened and making sure an interested prospect reaches the right person.
You don't need to switch to HubSpot to work with us. But if disconnected systems are costing you opportunities, we can help you see and improve the handover.
Explore our HubSpot expertise“Great copy is not easy to come by, and trying to write it is the bane of many small business owners' lives. So, my advice is to use Damien. He writes good. Real good. He did so for me and the results were wonderful.”
Tim Reid“Damien's been a bit of a secret weapon for me. He's helped me look really good and brought me some great results.”
Eugene SohFor businesses where the sale takes some thought
You sell to other businesses, can describe a customer worth winning and have an offer that solves a recognisable problem. Professional services, software and specialist commercial services are examples.
Your buyers may need to weigh up cost, risk or a change to how they work. There may be several people involved. You're looking for a way to open that conversation and stay with it.
Higher-value sales can give a campaign more room to pay its way. Smaller deals may still make sense if the market is large enough and the sales process works. We'll look at your circumstances rather than prescribe one threshold for everyone.
You sell only to consumers, want a spreadsheet of names, or need a guaranteed number of customers by a fixed date. This page describes managed B2B outreach, and those are different needs.
It also needs someone at your end ready to respond. If interested prospects wait days for an answer or nobody records what happened, even a promising campaign can stall.
We can talk through those gaps before anything launches. If outreach doesn't look like the right starting point, we'll say so.
Before you decide
A list gives you contact data and leaves the rest to you. We work through the audience, offer, messaging, sending setup, follow-up and reply handling. The aim is to start conversations with businesses you want as customers, then help your sales team take over with the context they need.
We'd want to understand what happened before recommending another campaign. Did the emails reach inboxes? Were the companies a fit? Did the message give them a reason to respond? Were interested replies followed up? A new sending tool won't fix the wrong audience or an offer nobody understands. We look at those pieces together.
For managed cold-email campaigns, we use separate sending domains and inboxes rather than sending from your main business domain. We warm them up, monitor delivery and adjust sending when needed. That separates the infrastructure, but it doesn't make email risk-free. No provider can guarantee inbox placement or remove the need to protect your reputation with relevant messages and responsible follow-up.
Setup and warm-up typically take around 10 to 15 business days for our managed outbound programme. Timing depends on the infrastructure, targeting and approvals. We won't rush the setup to meet an arbitrary date. Once sending begins, results depend on your market, offer and sales cycle; the historical examples here aren't a delivery promise.
No. We can work with HubSpot, another CRM or no CRM. If your current system can handle the handover, we'll work with it. Our HubSpot experience helps when you want better tracking, follow-up or reporting, but moving platforms isn't a condition of working with us.
Your knowledge of the market, approval of the targeting and messages, and someone who can respond to interested prospects. Tell us which conversations progress, which miss the mark and what buyers say. That feedback helps us improve the campaign instead of judging it from replies alone.
No. We can show you past outcomes and explain how we work, but we can't promise the same result for a different offer and market. Sales also depend on pricing, fit, timing and how your team handles the conversation. We'd rather agree what success means and measure it honestly than sell you a number without knowing your business.
It depends on the market, campaign scope and work involved. We'll discuss those with you and give you a price before you commit. A new client's value, your sales cycle and the size of the reachable market all affect whether an ongoing campaign makes commercial sense.
